My niece designed her own bookbag that she so desperately needed for me to make for her. We worked out the details, according to her wonderful sketch, and we can up with this lovely looking bag. I can happily create a personalized bookbag/ messenger just like (or similar) to the one pictured.
If you're wondering what the word "CHARIS" means, it's short for Charisma. I hand sketched all of the lettering, the stars, and the heart on the front flap. The genuine Swarvoski crystals are set in prongs and hand stitched very securely to the leather.
This bag measures 12 1/2" tall, 11 1/2" wide, with 3 1/4" sides. The inside of the bag is fully lined with a pocket on each side. One pocket for stuff and one pocket for snacks. The back of the bag has a heavy duty metal zipper for other things a little girl must have. The 33" strap is adjustable by simply readjusting the knot.

Please excuse the black marking on the inside from her marker. She is getting plenty of good use out of her very own, personalized bag made by Aunt Toya. Just might be the very beginnings of a young handbag designer.
